I was wondering, does microsoft word enable anchors so you can click on a link within the page and it will jump to a section?

I think it's possible, since I've seen Table of Contents work like that before, but I can't remember how you create them or custom links in the document. Try asking that paperclip for more help :p

What I meant was, jump to a section within the document, not to an actual website, it's like on a website how you click on a link and it jumps to the section within that html page?

In Word XP:

Select the text you want to jump to, open insert > bookmark
Select the text you want to jump from, then right-click, hyperlink, then click on "place in this document", and select the bookmark you just made.

Heeey! It's coool!

For a person with an older windows word program, if they click the link, does it still work?

Just tried in Word '97, and it works fine there as well.
