hd: 40 gig or higher
processor: pent3 or higher. Must be pent, no amd
graphics card: 32 mb
OS: XP home
dvd rom
usb port
Anybody know the cheapest deal I can get for something like this?

Asking for a pentium instead of AMD will push the price up by a bit.

Where'd you get that idea? AMD is perfectly fine in my PC, in fact benchmarks show it's a better CPU for multimedia and games :p

Yeah, AMD is the best processor manufacturer. Pentium gets more unreliable with every processor release. :p AMD processors, especially the Duron, XP Athlon and Thunderbirds, are extremely stable, even at high clockspeed and after overclocking. :)

they also have a tendency to overheat.
Anyway, this topic ain't about arguing over AMD and pentium. Goddamn, they've got fanboys for everything these days. I asked a question, and have yet to see any answer.

40 GB is a HUGE hard drive for a laptop. You can get it, but you'll pay for it.

My dad's laptop has 48 GB :D But I'm in Europe too, so I can't help much :p
