2 questions. Need help

Well I have 2 questions.

1. How do I make avi type files

and

2. How can I record my voice on sound recorder with out having static in it?

Do you have a webcam or something? If so it should come with software to make movies, I'd guess. If not, what are you planning to make movies out of?

About the microphone, get a better one, or try holding further away from your mouth or turing down the recording volume or something. Most computer microphones sort of suck.

Put a sock or something over the mic. You'll have to turn the volume up, but it should make it less crackly. Use a clean sock.

Are you trying to make an animation / what-ever on your computer and then add in some sound for it? Or do you have a webcam that you are trying to use?
