View Full Version : How can I rip a cd to, let's say...
Isn't there a program where you can rip something into a .iso file? I remember downloading one before but now I don't know what it's called. It's been a year. Any suggestions as to what programs are out there?

You can make a CD image using Nero. Go to Files then 'Copy CD' or something.
I use CloneCD (http://www.elby.ch/english/products/clone_cd/index.html). You should too.

I'd say CloneCD, CDRWin or BlindWrite. Nero is nice for burning ISOs, but creating them? Not really, it doesn't usually make an identical/perfect rip, unlike one of those 3 other programs I mentioned. However, they don't make ISOs, but they're still CD Images, and are still burnable using the same program (or other capable or reading that type of image).
