Is it just me, or is it no longer logging sent PMs, and doing message tracking, and all sorts of those things? I don't seem to have any new PMs in my sent items folder, and none listed in the tracking section, despite having sent several today.

I think that the PM Tracking has been disabled in turn so that we can be able to send Private Messages. I'm not sure, but that's what I think.

Everything works for me now. It turns out that all of the options were turned off when the PM's came back. I turned them all on and now things are back to normal. :)

I don't really see where there's a PM tracking option, or an option to store sent PMs.

All of the options are under the Message Box when you're sending a new message. They keep unchecking themselves though. I turned everything on and then when I went back in again, they were all turned off.

Oh, there. Yeah, I suspect it's not just set to have them unchecked by default, when it was set to checked by default before.

I uploaded a clean version of the private message php file. Some things may not be exactly the same as before. I just wanted to get them to work.

The Deny Receipt option for when you read a PM would be welcome to come back :D

Why, exactly, do you use that?

Just curious.

He doesn't want the admins to know he's reading their dirty porn PMs to the entire staff, obviously.

by a clean private.php, Unne means an old private.php. I can't fix it until I get home to my own computer.

Just hold your horses.

I was just about to ask that question. I use my sent PM folder all the time for various things. I NEED that option turned on all the time again....or would greatly prefer it be turned on again.

Me too. As it is I sometimes forget to check off all of the options and then I don't know exactly what it is that I sent. Is it possible to get things back to the way they were?

I'll try to remember to look into it when people stop pestering me on AIM. *too busy right this minute*

*shrugs* I fixed and re-uploaded the private.php that was in force before Unne uploaded the old one, so everything that used to be there should be back now. If it's not, I don't really know how to get it back, 'cause I didn't write the PM hacks.
