Way to counteract condemn on cursed shield

I figured "ajkhgjksdhgbkjd damn this shield!" since it was gonna kill locke, my chosen carrier of the thing, in any long battle. I then thought "wait a sec, doesn't condemn work using the doom spell".. I was right. relic ring will make it not a countdown to death, but a countdown to a full life regen. It's nifty, but it does make healing the other chars a bit annoying.

yea..i played ff6 a few times and i did not even realise that..

I just wore a couple of relics to counteract most of the status ailments, except for the countdown and Mute. It worked well, though, I just surrounded Relm with my buffest characters and went walking around killing weak enemies. It was simple. :D

I've always used a Ribbon, and just went on from there. I never had a problem with the condemed, expect for in a few boss battles.

I used a ribbon for everything but the condemned, and once I realized it, the Safety Bit (No Instant Death) to counter-act the condemned - the only problem then was the low defense, but come on, it is cursed:p
