I was playing my FFOrigings(#1) i'm at lvl. 20, at Astos's castle and my white mage has more HP than my black belt. My white mage has 394HP and my black belt has 373HP. Have I done anything wrong. Can anyone tell me why my white mage has higher HP than my blavk belt.

I have a party with a white mage/wizard and a red mage/wizard. I remember the red mage having more hit points than the white mage on the NES(although not by much) and on Origins I have them both up at level 40 now and the white mage/wizard has always been equal or above the red mage/wizard.

The Origins guide mentions that the white mage has high vitality. Her HP will rise for most level ups. Like the BB, she has high Vit and low def.

ya, they've completely made BB and Theif into total shit. Not that they were that good on NES, but you know what i mean.

BB is not worthless:grr: . He is at lvl.20 and does 250dmg. Fighter does only 175-200. Cast Haste and Stell and you got youreself a mean fighter. My guide says he will gain more HP around lvl. 25. Garland, did you see the section where it shows all the status that will be raised at a lvl. up. It shows BB having not alot of HP ups, but mine gains 10-15 evey lvl.up, and when he does have an HP up level he gains about 33-35 HP.:D

The BB is the most powerful attacker in the game so it's just stupid if you think he would be worthless since he's not. (Unless you keep him in the front row and he dies every battle;) )

*Evil glare*

You've just got a dud Black Belt. It can happen to any class. For most level ups, there's only a 50% chance a certain stat will go up. It's just that your Black Belt hasn't been hitting that sweet spot.

At level 20... A White Wizard can have a maximum of 280 HP. And a Master can have a minimum of 215.

Just like at about any given level, your Black Wizard could tie your Knight in terms of STR. It's all just a crapshoot.
