Donnie Darko DVD

I was watching the Donnie Darko DVD last night, and when it got to scene 21 half way through it messed up and stopped playing. Scence 22 wouldn't play at all, but when I started 23 I could rewind back about 5 minutes into 22. I was playing in on a ps2.
Has anyone else had this problem playing it on a ps2, or is my disk just messed up?

Is it an old DVD? I think PS2 has problems with the older DVDs; I can't get The Matrix to play at all in a PS2.

Clean the bottom? :D My mom's always leaving DVDs out and they get all skippy and broken when they're not clean. :aimwink: Just a basic suggestion from a basic human. Heh.

Get a DVD player, PS2 I learned is horrible, either that or clean your PS2. Apparently that works, I have yet to try it cause I'm lazy and just bought a DVD player instead for the remote.
