or did the earth cave (and any other dungeon you might notice) hella stronger than in the nes version? in the nes game It took me ONE try to get it done but I just died twice with almost the excact same party just now (lvl 11 warrior, thief, wm bm)

course I just might be unlucky

Ya, the origins version was harder (if you did the normal mode at least, dunno about easy) they decided to make the game harder then it was before. So now that would make it ummm very very hard.

Ice Cave is also harder in FFO, due to Mages.

god!!!!! I'm at level 19 and the enemies like crocs and hydras are able to hurt my partly badly in the rivers O.O are these some new hybrid monsters?!?!?!

heh unne actually the ice cave was a bit EASIER for me...less cocatrices for more mages was a better sacrafice personally...

just level up a lot, it makes the game so much easier. I got through normal mode with a Kn/Ni/Ww/Bw party. Even with the "useless" thief I really had no trouble with the game. Before you ask, no, I wasn't using quicksaves.

The beauty of this game is leveling up solve most of your issues unless you are doing a challenge. :bigsmile:
