I think their should be a general computer forum. Although I also think my computer is more interesting then world events.

There already is one, it's called the "Help Forum".

I think ZeZipster means a forum to chat about computers, not about help with them. There's been a flurry of computer threads started today, but I don't think that there'd be enough traffic to warrant a new forum.

Indeed, because most computer threads at these boards are help threads due to peoples machines breaking down :p

It's on the schedule of things to be discussed in Staff, right up there with the following other forum ideas:

Food Forum

Spam Forum

Newbie Forum

You forgot "Porn Forum", BoB.

No, no, no, those would both go in the spam forum.

I'd rather see that than The Poop forum again.

A Computer Forum would inspire people to talk about their computer and great for people who don't realize that the help forum is also for computers it'd be a quick answer for tough questions.

A Spam forum seems like a great idea it'd be perfect for cleaning up the General Chat. Although a newbie forum seems kind of pointless, their really isn't all that many introduction threads any way. I've also learned from other forums that a large portion of newbies don't read any thing but just post or ask questions (I think we've all seen people who ask questions with out researching any thing) there'd be a lot of threads to move and the general chat gets a lot more hits so newbies get more recognition posting in a General Thread than they probably would in a introduction thread. I think that you could actually fit the food forum in the arts forum and just call it "Art Gallery/Culinary Arts Forum".

There will never ever ever EVER be a Spam Forum. And if for some dumbass reason one was made, I'd eat Bleys' pants. While he was wearing them!

Kinky.

I think you guys missed something somewhere.

Gau please don't eat Bleys' pants while he's wearing them. Pants have crotches.

*decides to be serious*

Okay, I think we've had all of these suggested and rejected at least two or three times each:

Newbie Forum
Food Forum
Computer Forum
Spam Forum
Anime Forum
Announcements Forum (ie, Birthdays, Leaving, Returning)
FF:MQ Forum
FF:CC Forum
FF:Origins Forum
FFL Forum
Kingdom Hearts Forum
Xeno-Forum
SaGa Forum (or whatever it is)

...I think those are the more common ones. Seriously, though, a Computer Forum isn't really needed. Of course, in my opinion, I think that the Study Hall should be wiped off the face of the Earth, so there ya go xP But I don't ever really go there, so I don't ever really care. And as for people knowing where to put Computer questions - well, they already do. Everyone posts their questions and they all get answered by the Help Forum crew (crono/Skwowwy/Unne/Raf/Bleys) pretty damned fast. There's no problems.

So yeah, nice idea, but nah.

Oh, yeah. Spam/Newbie forums are things that will most likely never ever exist here. Facts of life, pretty much. Not having those two forums is a part of what makes EoFF what it is today.

You forgot Anime forum from that list, Daniel :p

Study Hall is pointless. It's only useful half the year (the half people are in school). Half the questions in there either don't get answered or get answered poorly. Half the threads that should go in there (surveys for school, which I think was the reason we even made the forum in the first place) stay in General Chat or EoEO. And who can blame the thread-makers, because no on reads that forum. Plus it sits underneath the archive forum, which makes it seem even less important than it already is.

Yeah, Study hall was a great idea when it was new, but I think it's dead now.

Help Forum seems like it does the same job, or it could.

So delete Study Hall then. No big deal.

*goes to find out how many times he's suggested this before with no luck*

It's like a dream come true ;_; I love you guys.

EDIT: I could only find a couple of times that I suggested it indirectly. D'oh.

Search probably didn't pick up a few of the posts since [inser name of person who screwed it up] screwed up the database. Or something. I'm sure I made a thread about it in Staff, a long time ago. Or something similar.
