The only discs that were released here in America are the mini-soundtrack discs of FFIX and FFX, if I'm correct.

You might not want to use Kazaa, trust me, you'll get sick of the spyware... Things popping up, like Gator adds and stuff. Try WinMX, has the same interface as the old Napster did. :)

In case you just want to get the whole sountrack more easily than having to download it track by track, a certain thread on another forum has the entire FF X soundtrack in four zip files (1 for each CD), but you have to join that forum to access the links.
