Burning Final Fantasy

and
1000 no Kotoba

actually, making a ff music CD is a very good idea. i've actually done it myself, i made 2 ff music CD's and called 'em 'fanal fantasy music' vol. 1 and 2 each with 15 songs on it. and yeah.

anyway i will suggest these:
ff7: boss battle
ff9: boss battle
ff9: kuja trance
ff10: suteki da ne
ff7: on the other side of the mountain
ff6: starting world map music.
ff4: world map

i may as well copied the songs from my ff CD's on to this list. maybe later i will...

"Final Fantasy" is undoubtedly the best Final Fantasy song ever, if something doesn't stir inside of you when you hear it you aren't a real FF Fan. I know it was in FF3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and 9. It was probably in 6, but it isn't in 10. It's usually played at some points in the credits, and sometimes at the start(FF3)

I'd say make an OCR (http://remix.overclocked.org) cd of FF stuff. Then again, that's because I've already got every FF soundtrack in some form or other (except FFXI and FFT, which I have partial OSTs of), along with FF5-FF10 piano collections, the FF concert, and FF6 Grand Finale. Most of it, I got from the almighty Gamingforce Audio site when it was still around... I hope they come back some day...

I think there's too many decent tracks from all the FFs to fit onto one CD, to be honest :p HD and MP3 format is easier for me, and backup to CD or another HD in their MP3 form so they stay small when backed up and don't need to be recompressed thus losing quality if burned as a proper audio CD for backup instead :p

i have a question.
Where can i find ff music in MP3 format?.... or is there a program (that i could download) which can succesfully transfer MIDI files into MP3 or WAV?

i have pretty much all of them in MIDI files but i have no way of burning them to a CD unless they are in a different format.
although i have tried recording them onto MD via my PC's line out but this results in a very poor quality recording:(

Um, as he said, in Kingdom Hearts :p On the Kingdom Hearts Final Mix CD, I believe. There's also 2 orchestral versions on the FFVII Reunion CD (with and without the lyrics), and the Project Majestic Mix version is pretty good too. :p
