That's hiragana, not Yevon's script.

But wouldn't it be cool to get someone make a page about all those ideograms in the game? They looked cool, and I'm interested in that sorta fings.

Nope, not this. Nait right, I want to found this type of font.

Is also lyric to the hymn of the fayth but is in Yevon's script. Yevon's script are a bit similliar to Buddhist's Sanskrit font.

Anyway, thanks for your info.

I wish to have this Yevon's font install in my computer but when? *Singing hymn of the fayth*

Seems like someone has just taken all the glyphs from the game and assigned them alphabetic values. Which is either not canon, or kinda stupid. Like writing "k" or "b" all over the walls... Except if they also double as ideograms.

I found some source about Yevon script from one of the Yuna's shrine but is not font file.:eep:

*Click Click* (http://www.driftingheart.net/yuna/miscellany/script.html)

A full translation on Yevon script. Now I can read well on them but I still want font file.

Doesn't seem very official, and the spiral analogy is a bit far-fetched. Why would yevonites base their writing-system on the latin alphabet? If they speak English, the latin is inadequate, if they speak Japanese, they have Hiragana upon which to base it. I still maintain that this system was supposed to be wholly ideographic, and maybe not to be used as a writing-system at all.

Seems you'd want the Spira script instead of the Yevon script... But we don't have a lot of that, now do we? The map had some, but the map was blurry.

EDIT:

Besides, Sanskrit isn't a writing-system, it's a language. Buddhist books are written in different writing-systems, depending on when and where they were written.

I guess I have to work with my own bare hand. I'll try to make Yevon script, Spira, script and Al Bhed script.

Thanks for remedy Nait.

Once you've downloaded the font file how are you supposed to use it? I've tried in Word but nothing happens

Extract and copy to C:\Windows\Fonts

Type on MS Word and change those words from Times New Roman to Al Bhed or Ebon.

Al Bhed have both capital letter and regular letter.

As for Yevon or Ebon only work on capital letter.

End of tuition.

'Tis good. Praise be to Vegnagun. :X

Always remember to change font to Al Bhed select "al bhed" and for Yevon glyph select "ebon" not Yevon.
