Is this a glitch?

I am outside the Worus tower leveling up to fight Galura and I run into a Galura outside the tower, i rand from it and I found another one. Is this a glitch in the SNES rom?

No, it's not a glitch. Galura is a normal enemy as well as a boss. They look the same, but the boss Galura has more HP and, after all, a defined personality. I'd also assume the boss Galura uses more advanced techniques in battle, but I wouldn't worry about it too much.

There are also Neo Galuras to be found later in the game, but I don't remember exactly where.

If you go to Carwen, and then leave town, then head directly south, there is a small piece of shore (1 square) that you can fight Garulas in. I think that the Garulas that're out on the world map just remain dormant- I've run across several (all in that square) and none of them have so much as lifted a finger (or toe... or whatever) to stop me.


I forgot to say- if you don't kill them in two turns or so, they'll use escape and run away.

Not a glitch. I fought them too, much before I fought the actual boss Galura.
