I'd say Wakka, his attack reals is one of the best attacks in the entire game.

Easiest to get and do large damage = Tidus
Most powerful in the whole game - Wakka
Useful throughout for support = Rikkue
Useful for full break = Auron

Difficult to say. I'd go for Wakka though, just cos attack reels IS the most powerful overdrive.

tough choice man...

Tidus- a lot of damage, but can reduce the number of turns you have, takes a while to learn them

Yuna- u can have an aeon use 2 overdrives in a row, but make aeons vulnerable to more attacks

Auron- inflict multiple breaks regardless of immunities, and can blow some enemies away, too many buttons to push

Kimahri- useful with status ailments, no buttons to push, automatic full gauge when he learns a tech, pain in the ass to get

Wakka- A LOT of damage, pain in the ass if u lose a tournament at the very end though

Lulu- overkill many fiends, death will almost always work (unless immune), dislike rotating R3... might i also add that i broke the analog stick off the controller doing this attack. lol

Rikku- never know whats gonna happen, can get multiple support magic in one turn, mulitple combinations for 1 attack though.


So... i would say Auron's or Tidus if you want to break an enemy down, eject him, or do a lot of damage. but they take a while to learn.

Overdrives are overrated. The haste-quick hit combination is better than any overdrive, but if I had to pick a best overdrive, I would pick Tidus's because it is reliable and damaging, making it a great finisher. Overall it's better to use the Overdrive---->AP ability and stick with quick hit.:choc:

Yuna, she gives her aeons an overdrive and they are better than characters

You obviously haven't maxed out your stats then :)

The only Aeon that has a better overdrive than the Tidus/Wakka is Anima but it's too slow to summon Aeons anyway.

Yuna is quite useful early in the game but her overdrive is worthless when you get onto the real big guys.

yojimbo is better. i dont recall anima being able to take out penenance in one hit.

u obviously havent maxed all of his stats out. and besides, winning gil isnt that hard. omega dungion, having rikku with godhand is a must. then beat a mimic and u get a bit over 100,000 gil. not that hard, and they show up so frequently

That is Wakka's.
His second overdrive skill attack reel can harsh 12HITS on the enemy and cost little turns . If you want to defeat the Final hidden Boss who has 15,000,000HP
Wakka is necessary.
Tidus overdrive is the second powerful , but long in waiting time for another action .

I would have to say Tidus all the way with blitzball ace. I just love it how it inflicts so much damage even before you hit the time gauge. Also how the girls throw the ball to him. kinda cool.:p

I liked Auron's overdrives the most, but Yuna probably had the strongest overdrive, with the aeons and all, dealing the most power.

BTW... Flare is considered Magic in FF, not attack.

I would say anima's overdrive is the best, or atleast so far in my game, she takes of well over 1,000,000HP so im quite chuffed. Out of the main characters though, probably Wakka's or Tidus', both are equally as good, unless you dont have Wakka's celestial weapon because you can't be arsed playing lots of blitzball... so at the moment Tidus' is best.

You sure? That's impossible for most bosses at the Monster Arena, and even Dark Aeons to deal that much damage. Over 10,000 might sound a bit more realistic, since the highest any given character can do in one hit is 99,999. Only a select few bosses break that, and they only do around 150,000 or less. Fenrir and Neslug are the only ones I can think of at the moment, and it might be because they are the only ones one can break the 99,999 limit.
