Well, perhaps I am just dumb, but could someone explain to me what these stats are for? No matter how high they seem, nothing seems to change. Someone explain what they are for, please. x_x;

Yep. Dexterity is basically speed. Vitality is defense. Spirit is magic defense. Magic is magic attack. Strength is attack. Exp is experience. Lv. is level. Weapon is weapon, and so on. Just remember the vitality as "I don't want this opposing attack to be VITAL!" Remember Spirit as "I have high spirit to survive this magic attack!" And remember the dexterity as the last thing I can't remember, so I guess it's speed.

In your status screen you will notice that you add ( for example) vitality+ Defense and you get your total defense. Vitality, Dexterity and such are like your natural stats, that are added to the stats from equipment.

Dexterity isn't speed. Speed is its own thing, how fast your action bar (not limit bar) fills up. Dexterity is how easily your character can steal or morph an ooponent.
