Hi there. Can anybody tell me why ff7 doesn't run on win 2k. i installed everything new and nothing works.:mad2: maybe you can help me.

I have no problem with the PSX version of FF7 on Win2k myself, runs nice and smoothly for me :p Except One Winged Angel, the lyrics are too fast compared to the music, so kinda ruins the song :p
As for the PC version, I have no idea what you could try other than installing patches.

i installed the patch of eyesonff.com. but that didn't make the problem lose. so please help me. i dont want to lose my savegame!!! but also: thank you :cool:

I tried forever to get FF7 working in 2000. You'll have to get XPee

what means "was". did you deinstall it cause of FF??? i will now see if i can get win xp and rebot my system :mad2: ! so thank you :greenie:

No, I installed XPee because Win2k didn't like my new sound card (Audigy 2) with DVD playback PLUS it wouldn't play FF7, and XPee Pro is essentially Win2k Pro + crayons.
I left 2000 on there on a different partition, though--You never know when I might get a virus, and this way I can boot into 2k to do a virus scan, even if my XPee install is infected with a virus that attacks virus scanners.

Try looking for patches and see if they work. My Project eden game on pc (XP) froze every couple of steps but i found a patch and it fixed it for me. :p

i think i'll get xp. there are two reasons. the first: everybody i asked said that xp is the best one an the second: i can't play ff7:mad2: so thank for your help
