The ending...

I read in the walktrough that there are "multiple endings" depending on who was still standing after the last battle. I haven't finished the game yet (but am close to) but I have to know, if someone is "out" at the end of the last battle, will I have to see their burials? Will the ending be sadder? But no spoilers (if you can avoid 'em).

No, the ending isn't really any sadder if any characters are dead/petrified etc. when you defeat the last boss, some things change in the ending but otherwise I guess they're all equally happy due to what they do to the fallen characters :p

Okay...but none of the fallen characters actually dies, right?

Play the last battle several times with different characters dead when you finish and find out :p

Okay...is my chances good to have all my people alive when they are at level 40 (some of them are even at 41...)?

What Jobs you've mastered affects your characters more than levels really - if you've been learning skills at the same speed as I usually do when levelling up though, then 40 should be high enough if you set them up correctly :p

I thought there is only one ending? Does the multiple endings include Bartz getting together with Boko and making Chocobo X human hybrids?
