Is it okay if you removed the post verification page? I mean, it doesn't really serve a purpose unless it's like the PV page that FG has (which has been edited to shambles)

Or does it serve a purpose? I just feel it makes posting in this forum take three seconds longer than it should *is picky*

It probably takes the place of a "access denied" page. Either you get a confirmation or a rejection. At least something in life is cut and dry.

vB will still be slow without that page. Might as well look at something while I'm waiting.

Yeah, it's just a transfer page. Like that "Loading" screen in video games.

I've seen forums without it. Like, after it posts, you see the same page reloaded.

So....is it possible on this...vbb or whatever it is?

Of course it's possible. The real question though is if the admins want to hack the board. And we all know the answer to that.

It's a half-second of your life. How can you be so petty? I don't want to hate you, but if you don't stop right there, man I swear to god I'll

Click the link that comes up before the redirect redirects you. Even better, turn it into a game. See how quickly you can click the link. And then try to break that record.

But then what would happen if the admin has selected to moderate all posts on this board?

They'd need like 5 billion people on staff then.

No, that's what all the monkeys we keep chained up in the basement are for

I've never, ever, ever seen a vBulletin that selected to moderate all posts in a forum.

And yeah, it'd require an arseload of h4x0ring to get rid of that page. I doubt the EoFF staff can be arsed. :D

does it really require haxoring? Because my forum lacks that page :p

Is your page a vB, PG?

I guess it's just become natural to see it, i didn't really know what you were on about for a while there. Mights as well just leave it and/or fill the page with every smiley ever known

Wouldnt it be as good an idea to not have to click on the "add reply" link in order to have to post a reply.
In another forum i frequent there is just an empty text box at the end of every page and you can just type what you want in there and post it quickly instead of having to wait for the replying page to load up. If you want to put in smilies you gotta click on "add reply" link so its a good idea to have both ways to reply to a post.....no?

There is a 'quick reply' option that you can enable by editing your settings...

Yup, it's in the 'style set' category of 'Edit Options' in your user control panel. Quick reply am goal?

I like the redirect page. It makes me feel important.
