I just want to try a new browser, but I need something to work:

background midis.

Anything else can be addressed, but I need background midis to play so I can see my deadjournal (http://www.deadjournal.com). Simple enough, yes?

You'll forget IE ever existed once you use that one.

http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/

I use kmeleon because it has ONE feature I didn't see in firebird, I can't use the mousewheel to scroll down pages like I could in IE, that bugged me. Don't know k-meleon can play background midis, give me a page with one and I'll test it.

click my journal.

Um, I can use mouse scroll button fine in firebird...so *shruggle*

edit: it doesn't seem to have either midi nor foreign text support. Gah...IE is the BEST

http://texturizer.net/firebird/extensions.html

Download extensions then. There's one for pratically every feature you would ever want.

I must admit, it doesn't get much better than Firebird.

Hmm... this Firebird thing appears to work. Text cursor is too thick, though...

Pretty nice. :)

I must admit, I thought IE was good for a long time, but only because it keeps your expectations of a good piece of software low. It's like living Columbia your entire life thinking that it's great, but when you finally get to the U.S. there's no turning back.

Where did you get U.S. > Columbia? It certainly ain't for all ethnics groups :p

And having multiple browsers installed is the best way to go :p

Well I like the U.S. more. It's all preferences I guess.

In any case, Firebird > all.
