I'm sure I can find this in the faq, but I haven't found it.
How is the "Originally posted by" quotes made? I only know how to do
this.

Thanks.

Just without the spaces in the tags, if you want to do it manually.

...or simply type [q=username] and end with [ /q]. This doesn't seem to work for usernames that are long or complex, though. Spaces and punctuation tend to mess it up a little.

I usually use blah-blah like Big D said, or I hit the quote button under some ones post, although that makes it harder to quote multiple people in one post.

Seems like the [q] tag works fine with long names. If it ever doesn't work for some given name, put the name in 'single quotes' and it should work no matter what.

Hmm. Doesn't seem to like apostrophes, for some reason. Ah well, no big. There are plenty of options for quoting, even if some of them necessitate superhuman efforts like typing out 'originally posted by' a few times.

apostrophes = single quotes, which is an SQL delimiter. The same would happen if you used double quotes in the name.

It might work with single quotes if you put the whole name in double quotes. Let me try a couple of things.

EDIT: Guess not.

Hi.
Hi.
Hi.

I cheated and used ' and " though. :(
