The title says it all. What is the best Playstation emulator? I'm looking to play FFVI on it. I know, the game is crap on Playstation, but I want to beat it so I have access to all of the monster and esper pictures on my computer with little effort. Thanks in advance.

There's a few here (http://www.psxemulators.com/psxemulators_emulators.htm) for you to check out (scroll down).

I've only used Bleem, which worked quite well for me. Take your pick.

Thanks, I'll check it out. One more question. Is it possible to increase the frame skip/speed up the game like on the cartridge emulators? I know that the emulator will be reading the disk from my cd drive so I was wondering if it is possible.

ePSXe wins hands down. Plus it's free, unlike Bleem :p Unfortunately, it's not the easiest to set up :p And yes, it will let you alter the frame rate and speed the game up.

There's an option for that in epsxe, which is the best one, but I haven't used it in months, so I can't remember how it goes.

ePSXe > all, plain and simple.

Add another vote for ePSXe.

Guess I'll get ePSXe then.

Thanks for all of the input everyone. This can be closed now if anyone feels like it.
