The book for the Play Staytion version describes the Bonus Section will get new options "After World Destruction" WHY did they mention THAT? not Everyone knows the world get's destroyed they should have just said "after a certain event"

Yeah, it sucks... My SNES cart came with a map of "World Of Ruin"... They should be more careful with spoilers in their own material.

It's not the only time Square spoils their own material, either - I consider the knowledge that Magus can join your party in Chrono Trigger to be a HUGE spoiler, yet it's in the Anthology book anyway. Go figure. :rolleyes2

I think they're refering to the instruction booklets.

More like..

Moral of the story: Jump right into the game without looking at the instruction booklet.

It's what I always do. Figure out all the controls and whatnot on the fly.

Same here. Heck, I generally try to read as little about the game as possible before starting it, but in some cases, it's unavoidable (as it was with Chrono Trigger).

I don't really consider the existence of the WoR a spoiler though, as you don't find out how the changes occur. That'd be the real spoiler, to me.

In the PAL PlayStation re-release of FFVI, all that's revealed - both in the manual and in the game - are options named 'Before C' and 'After C' rather than 'After World Destruction.' 'C' undoubtedly stands for 'catastrophe' or some such.

OR Cefka (Kefka's Origonal name) Pre-Cefka (Before Kefka attacks the Statues) and Post-Cefka (After Kefka attacks the Statues and Screws up the world...Evil!)

Why would they do that in the English version, then?

They didn't. Then you can think whatever you want for that "C".

I considered that "Cefca" option when I saw it, but I think that "Catastrophe" or maybe "Chaos" would be cooler.

Especially since Square translates his name as "Kefka" in the game, anyway.
