Cider?

I'm in South Figaro, and I've played this bit before but I can never figure it out, theres a man in a house who says he will only talk to you if you bring him cider, well I have tried following the guy who usually brings the cider and tried picking the cider up, etc, but nothing seems to work.

I thought it might be like a little task you had to do, but is it just something he says?
