i was wondering if there is a cid in this game and where u meet him

Yes, he's one of the biggest bad-asses in the game. He's Thunder God Cid, or T.G. Cid, otherwise known as Orlandu, Olan's father. You see him in cut-scenes during the course of the game and he joins your party towards the beginning of chapter 4.

Final Fantasy 1 doesn't, and I don't think FFMQ has one, I'm not sure about other FF2j or 3j.

yep in ff2 a cid is an airship flyer/white knight and in ff3j he is an airship mehanic who gets u the Enterprise.

FFMQ wasn't a final fantasy game originally I don't think. I'm pretty sure they renamed it that after the final fantasy series was a success to sell more copies.
