I need to recover some documents lost in a FAT32, WinME computer. I have dos-browsing abilities (I think this is somehow relevant). Right now I'm fiddling with Norton Disk Editor, because I can't afford to pay 500$ for some data recovery program.

Anywho, any help on recovering deleted data (which by now probably was overwritten but I must find out) is appreciated. Thanks

WinME? That's your problem right there.

I said it on AIM tonight, and I'll say it again: fdisk is your friend.

And I asked you what you meant, and you were either kidding or sarcastic. >_<

*needs help regardless of operating system*

-_- Bleys is starting to annoy me.

1) Files have nothing to do with winME. If you want me to install something else afterward, fine. Until then, it's a FAT32 formatted drive

2) Help plz

I haven't used the DOS Undelete thingie since my Win 3.11 days, so I can't help you there.

And get a different OS when you're done. ANY other OS.

Ask Squally for some disk analysis program which I forgot the link to, but from what I've seen of it, it seems to work pretty well, even on a drive that's failing and suffered a few head crashes :p
