I'm afraid to enter Jade/Pandaemonium

I'm at the end of FFII[origins]. I'm afraid of entering Jade Portal. I got my ass kicked just TRYING to get past Jade. I almost met my doom at the waterfall. Firion,Maria,and Gus's HP are like 3500. And Leon's is 1200[i gonna get his HP up soon]. What should I do?

Level up a bit and get high level spells/weapon skills, get the ultimate weapons and armor (in Jade and Pandaemonium) and also lot's and lot's of elixers and ethers too. Load up on them and get your stats a bit higher and then go through there a lot. I made maps so I could find the easiest way through and leveled in there and continued to go deeper in to get the ultimate weapons and armor and to also learn the best ways to kill monsters.
