Squall is not the son of Laguna and wossname but really an escapee from the moon of Endor who shaved off his fur to blend in with society! He has a problem with the Basic language, and therefore every time he tries to be a nice guy it just sounds angsty and whiny! Truly, for his bravery, Squall the Ewok (his name even SOUNDS Ewokish!) is the best FF character ever, and continues those Final Fantasy-Star Wars parallels made famous by Return of the Magi... I mean, FFVI.
