How the hell do I leave a shop??? I've been trying seriously for 30 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!

The quickest way is to just hit B (Cancel) until you're out.

All its doing is showing the items name/attributes when i press B....then it closes it when i press B again....and repeat. Grr

Hahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahaahaahahahahhahahhaha i had B and R set as the same buttons on my emulator. All is good now. hahaahha im such an idiot
