I heard that for the american version of FFX you can set the language to japanese. So I wanna know if the characters speak japanese only during the animations or is the whole game in japanese? Cuz if it`s only the animations it`d be really cool... I just hate english translations. They make the characters sound so gay....

Yeah.

As far as I can tell, there is only ever one recorded language and one written language on any given copy of the game. The recorded language is either English or Japanese, and the written subtitles depend on where the game is from.

It may be slightly different for the International version, but that's how the PAL versions are.

What are you talking about? Mine has the Japanese in it. Do I have a freak copy? It's subtitled in English. *looks around*

Yours is probably the 2 disc one... I have the regular one disc version, which has no Japanese on it...
