Lets go back into the past, no not 5 years ago, further then that, back to when some of the characters are most likley not even born yet, about Sephirtoh, how do you magine Sephiroth as a young boy at the age of about 9, way before he went psycho.

I would imagine that as a kid Sephiroth was most likely seperated from all of the other children he went to school with, and he was picked on alot and this then brewed up his anger and then he finaly snapped when he learned of his fate at the Nbelhime reactor.

I think he may have been one of those...misunderstood,neglacted children.Neglacted by all but Hojo whom studyed him and probly taught him in the manchine. He was probly left alone in one of the rooms,or in the basment in a cornor, crying to himself because he wasnt allowed friends,or guests,or even emotions from others.

In the game, Sephiroth says that he always felt different, more serious, somehow 'better' than other children. He was probably distant and cold, since he had no hometown or actual parents that he knew of. Professor Gast apparently raised him for a while, but he'd have been fostered by Shinra, possibly Hojo after that.
He was probably strong and independent, quite arrogant too, but not totally unlikeable. After all, he became good friends with Zack, a man in his mid-teens, later on.
