FF7 patch for pc

I just bought a laptop and i want to play FF7 on it. I've installed it but can't play because of the button configuration. I remember seeing a patch on the web for notebook users, but i never needed it back then because i played it on a pc.

Just wondering if anybody has the patch and if they can give me the link to it.

FF7's patches certainly take a bit of looking to find, these days.

i suspect this (http://ftp.se.kde.org/pub/pc/games/gamesdomain/patches-gd/ff7input.zip) is what you're looking for.

Yes. That patch did the trick.

Its a bit awkward playing with the controls, but it's better than not playing it at all!
