for me, it was ffIX, in the final battle with Kuja.

it was an easy battle, but that drum beat really gets the

Yeah, Dancing Mad, is too damn good...

I love the Fiend battle theme in FF4, too.

FF VIII's battle music is still in my ears... It drives me into killing mode when a battle pops up!

One Winged Angel is my personal favourite. The powerful orchestral instruments and excellent choir performance make the song perfect for Sephiroth's final appearance. Although the synthesized version from the game isn't all that great, the fully orchestral version from the Reunion CD and the version from the Kingdom Hearts soundtrack are both fantastic.

FFIV, VII, VIII have very cool normal-boss battle themes.

The battle theme in FFIV when fighting the Fields of Elements is great as well.

FFVI's Dancing Mad is amazing.

FFVIII's 3 final battle songs are good.

Seymour Battle and Summoned Aeon Battle in FFX are also very good songs.

^^ Those are the best.

FF7 Boss them, umm ff7 battle them in general, and ff8 battle them :) good stuff

FFIV's Boss's Theme, Dreadful Fight (the Fiends theme), and Zeromus's.
FFV's Clash on the Grand Bridge (Battle against Gilgamesh).
FFVI's Fierce Battle (Atma Weapon) and Dancing Mad.
FFVII's Boss's Theme.

Edit: Oh, and FFVIII's The Man with the Machine Gun (Battle music with Laguna).
