making a small spam limit, like 10-15 seconds. It's high enough to prevent double posts (and people posting 3000000 threads like I did) yet low enough to prevent people from mass replying all the way down the page (like me).

What do you think?

No way. Those bug me at other boards.

Good point. What onslaught? I edit a double-post into one post maybe once every couple of weeks.

I'm glad there's always someone like Hooters to do the jokes I don't think fit my style.

*&^@!111 just make it five seconds. The idea that there exists members of the board who have two or more threads simulaneously opened, with a response for each thread ready, who then will begin to click "submit reply" to each reply while switching windows and repeating the same button clicking procedure is just GHEY (if you do that my heartfelt condolences, you weirdo).

10 seconds would stop this, and I am almost positive nobody would notice. Sheesh.

And what onslaught? Can't you tell when I use terminology to induce a emotional response?

It's been a long, long time since I had to fix a duplicate double post. And if it's not a duplicate but rather an additional post (such as HOOTERS'), then chances are they're going to wait the 15 seconds and then post again anyway. If they don't know how to use the edit button, they won't care how long the delay is, they'll just wait it out and post again once the time is up. =P

I didn't know "bad" could be classified as a style.

Aw, your jokes aren't bad. Just different.

I think this is the point where I make the joke that utterly offends everyone.

Sounds about right to me XD
