Confusing treasurechest in Kalm?!!?!

I suppose I'm not the only one who have this problem...

there is a chest in the third house from the left(the first ohne is an inn) which can't be opened! It in front of a cupboard where you can find an Ether(I think it was an Ether) inside:whoa:

Does anyone know how to open this thing and if noone knows, has anyone ever tried to use the rubbish-key from Mideel at the chest(before bursting it at the door in the Mideel weaponshop)??

From what I've heard it simply can't be opened. :\

I think you're reffering to the treasure chest in the adventurers house. You can't open the chest, it's used as more of a prop. There are three things that you can bring him, and when you do he walks over the the chest and pulls the reward out for you. So it's not a true treasure chest, it's more of a prop.

i dont think he's talking about THAT house. The adventurer's house is on the far right, the house he's talking about is somewhere in the middle or middle-left of town.

and yes, i was wondering what was in that chest too.

Theres a cupboard in the inn which when you open it Cloud says. "Can't reach it." Theres a green bottle in there which is usually an eather I think.

the "ether" was actually a megaelixir. Just talk to the cupboard some times and cloud gets angry,hits the cupboard making the megaelixir fall down
