Okay, I've read several posts and stuff and wanna know the answer. Can Sephiroth attack you in the ending? I heard he doesn't attack you at all. Then I heard he'll attack you for 8000 damage. THEN I heard he'll attack you for 3000. Which is right?

P.S. I can tell this thread will be closed.

If you wait 60minutes Cloud and Sephiroth both chuck down the swords and settle there differences over a game of Worms Armaggedon.

Stand still for a few seconds and he'll attack you. He dosn't do enough damage to kill you and once he hits you Cloud will counter attack even if you don't input a command. Sep then bites the big one same as if you hit him with the Omni-slash.

No matter what Cloud's HP is, Sephiroth will only do enough damage to take away about 90% of it.

That's right. You can't lose that battle. Either you'll Omnislash Sephiroth and beat him with that, or he'll attack you and take about 90% of your HP, but Cloud will automatically counter that with a pathetic physical sword slash attack, which still beats Sephiroth for some reason.

"For some reason..." I'm guessing it's becasue Sephiroth has already been defeated, and even disintegrated twice in the last half-hour. There's only so much killing one man can endure...:p

That last battle is basically symbolic. Cloud's pent-up anger and hurt, finally coming to the surface as he banishes the last remnants of his nemesis for good.

Nope. Even if you try to run, Cloud always wins.

You can't even attack yourself there, or use devastating items or spells on yourself because your only move is Omnislash, and you can't target yourself with limit breaks.
