k, so i have the origina nes game, and i have all the roms and emulators of all the other ff's but i wanna buy them, so as far as i know i can get

FF Origins for the playstation, which has redone(wonderswan) versions of FF1 and FF2j

and then i get confused, i've heard of
FF Anthology which has FF4j(FF2e) and FF5 on it, but i've also heard of
FF Anthologies with FF5 and FF6j(FF3e) .. which one is right. those whicheva one exists is for the playstation also right..

is anything puting out the actualy FF3j?
and FF4j(FF2e) is still out there somewhere for the supernintendo right?

can someone confirm this at all? as i know it

FF1-playstation (origins), nes (original), wonderswan
FF2-playstation (origins), wonderswan
FF3-no system?
FF4-snes (FF2e), playstation? (anthology?)
FF5-playstation? (anthology?) (anthologies?)
FF6-playstation? (anthologies?)

all of those you can get on emulators..but i wanna track down hard copies
any help would be great :D
thnx

These are the ones I have, all for PSX:

FF1 & FF2 (FF Origins)
FF4 (FF Chronicles, along with Chrono Trigger)
FF5 & FF6 (FF Anthology)
FF7
FF8
FF9
FF Tactics

Most of those should be fairly easy to find, except for Anthology. My uncle wanted to buy me Anthology for Christmas once, but he couldn't find it so he just gave me money--that day, I went to one store that said that they had gotten their only copy in that same day, so I bought it then. That's the one and only copy I've seen being sold, except on ebay. So ebay's probably your best bet for Anthology, but I would definitely recomment getting that, seeing as many people who've played 6 believe it to be the best FF.

The only FF that's impossible to own legitimately is FF3J, which was Japanese Famicom only, and for some reason, Square intends to keep it that way.

thnx guys, its a wonder they didn't just go put ff3j onto ff origins, and have the 3 nes oldies together

Yeah, that'd be real cool. It's weird, if you've played all of them then you can kinda see how Final Fantasy evolved, but there's still the missing link--FF3j.

yeah totaly, they add stuff in, and reacurring characters. all kinds of stuff. and it would've bene awsome if it was on origins, cuz then all the nes ones would have same grafics, and all the snes ones woudl have similer grafics

They probably didn't put it in with Origins because there was never a Wonderswan remake of FF3j - after all, Origins was just a PSX port of the FF1 and FF2j WSC remakes, with much better music, translations, and two FMV's.

I'm pretty sure that Nintendo isn't making any more games for the Wonderswan, especially after making the GBA.
