Final Fantasy X-2 is OUT!!! XD

Heya everyone, how's everyone doing? Good? Hope so, hehe. Well, anyway, I just got the FFX-2 PS2 disc and started it yesterday. Now, after watching the intro CG and playing through the first battles with "regular-play" music and "battle" music, I was extremely upset.

This is the first sequel to a FF game ever made and they messed up quite a bit. I AM NOT saying the game is all bad now and you shouldn't buy it so it would save you money. But, it is rather fun to play, they brought back some of the good'ol classic things that we missed in FFX.

Though, back to my point, they translated the "real emotion" song. That is very dissappointing. I mean, they never translated the one in FFX, Suteki da Ne. Which was good, originality is always nicer than most alterations.

Other than that, the game is very girly styled with the background colors and picture themes. And much fun to play. This game is soooo cool.

So you don't recommend the game because one song was translated? That's pretty lame. Considering I never heard the Japanese version, I'm not heart broken over it. The game is fun and I'm having a great time with it.

I base my opinion on game play, not on songs... plus the porn-like music in the background when you're on a mission makes me LMAO! hahahaha its so great!

I have played all Final Fantasy's since FF7.
I guess that makes some what of a newbie but I've beat FF7 2times. FF8 2 times FF9 1.5 times and FFX
I put in over 100 hrs. Now I was really looking forward to a new Final Fantasy. I was not interested in FF 11
because of the online thing. I like it to be me and my game. No other people messing up the game for me.

Well After 10 hrs of FFX-2 I can say I'm still not impressed. The only thing I like about this game so far is the battles. That should be enough but its not.
I will still try to finish this game but it will only be because I spent 50 bucks.

So,would you recomend it to somone who doesnt have it yet?(despite attampts to get it.)I have yet to buy it,am sorta looking forward to playing it for the first time(sadly that may be christmas day:(),but iv Iv heard going around has made me abit confused on if it will be worth it.

Why don't you rent it? I work part-time at a video store and we already have X-2 to rent. It would be much cheaper than purchasing the game and then not enjoying it (although you probably will like it, hehe). It would be a good way to keep your money safe until you are sure what you want to buy :moggie:
