Im glad were not the only ones who think Vaan in ...pretty. Maybe that is why there will be little love in this game Ashe thinks Vaan is a chick.

I hope though the next male lead in a FF will be a Mr. T rugged kind of guy. I can see it now.

FFXIII, final boss fight begins.

"I pity the foo that try and destroy the world."

Ahem anyway. Ya I read that interview a few days ago. It's really interesting to see just how weird all those people are, especially when they had the dramatic pause. I also found it interesting how they came up with all the different stuff in the game. Can't wait until more info is released and for people to translate it.

Nah, Barrett's been and gone :D

I assumed the characters were designed by Amano going by the 'effeminate male' theme, but that doens't seem to be the case.

Can't wait for it after reading that!!!!

I love the dark battles and the look, it's very mediterrian which I like because it's seems very different to previoyus FFs

I would have liked a FFVIII style one though but hey you can't have it all. I would have liked a realistic Futuristic setting, like just in the future, very Neo Tokyo style, but thios one is great though.

I'm aredy liking the airship thing:cool:

Logos good as well VERY GOOD LOGO

Very interesting indeed. Thanks for pointing it out, man.

I must admit the guys are becoming a bit too girly for my liking. =/ I suppose it is first and foremost aimed at Japanese, though, so it might not be so bad in their opinion, seeing as they tend to be more effeminate than other cultures. Over in the Caucasian world, the girls look less feminine than the FF males do. xD

There needs to be a Westerner's Final Fantasy. The male characters would be rugged, manly men, like Cid... and, uh... Cid. None of these wussy girlish men. I want to see a John Wayne-type character as the male lead, not some Ziggy Stardust wannabe.

I honestly don't mean to sound too insulting or anything, but really, it kinda drives me nuts when people talk about wishing the Final Fantasy series would become something it isn't. Now I don't deny that I'd love to see a Clint Eastwood style ass-kicker in the lead. But that wouldn't be Final Fantasy.

Actually, now that I think about it, I can really see that working. I rescind my statement.

However I still don't mind the girly boys. I mean, up 'till Tidus they weren't THAT girly. And we still don't know what kind of badass Vaan is (if he is one at all, god help us). I mean, even with the girly, there hasn't bee a FF lead who wasn't badass in some way;

FFX-[Tidus] Badass in the Blitzball sphere. That's pretty much it.

FFIX-[Zidane] Almost not a badass. But then there was the final scene.

FFVIII-[Squall] I may not have liked that game, but at least Squall was a badass.

FFVII-[Cloud] His badassness extended into three other games (Ehrgeiz & Tactics, although by Tactics much of his badassitude seems to have been expended, though he got his second wind for Kingdom Hearts)

The male leads in FFs 1-6 weren't really that girly so they don't apply. Anyway, I quiet now, thank you.
