View Full Version : FFIV walkthrough gone wrong

I'm guessing this is the best forum for this post...

I haven't played FFIV but I collect old magazines with any FF articles in, and my parents got me this one from a car boot sale.

Well the walkthrough is supposed to be of FFIV but there are screenshots of FFIV mixed in with a bunch of Chrono Trigger screenshots and artwork.

The funniest thing is that these people write as though they know what they are talking about, and mention Kain and Cecil a lot, but then stick in a screenshot which has the names "Crono" and "Marl" in.

One screenshot of Chrono Trigger could be passed off as a careless mistake, but the whole 6 pages of this walkthrough has almost more Chrono Trigger images in than it does FFIV.

I found this an amusing (and confusing) article :D

If you want to check it out, I scanned in the pages (each image is around 80k). Oh and spoilers I guess since it's a walkthrough although I didn't really read it.

Nice, that's pretty funny. I'd like to own one just for the occasional chuckle.

Some of the screenshot captions are really bizarre. "Derek's decorating style surprised Marge somewhat." "Everyone was glum when the bouncy castle punctured." Sure.

Click the link, then in the URL bar type a single space, then hit enter. That should do it.

And funny stuff. :rolleyes2

Yuck. That's one of the worst walkthroughs I have ever read. The person who wrote it must have written it as a joke, especially with all the Chrono Trigger pictures. Some of his strategies were wrong too. Since when do you use Ice3 against Valvalis? I'm pretty sure Bolt3 is the one that does 9999 damage.

The walkthrough was bad(ignore every door in lunar crater...) but the chrono trigger pictures were just hilarious.

Mediocre walkthrough writer + Drunk, uninformed layout designer= that.

It's gotta be some sort of joke... or whoever made it really didn't care at all about this game.

The moral of the story is that British people are stupid.
