Uncle Chuck is Gonna Be At Sepiroth's Reunion *Minor Spoilers*

Okay, you know right after you leave Cosmo Canyon and go to Nibelheim. Sepiroth is there and he tells you to go to his reunion at the top of Mount Nibel and all the clones are walking around...

Inside Shinra Mansion I encountered a foe who looked like a mermaid, except his bottom half was a giant axe and he was swinging on a chain. Me and my friend's gave this guy the nickname Uncle Chuck for some reason. But I have a question. The first time I fought Uncle Chuck, he fell off his chain and lied on the ground begging for mercy. He would keep trying to climb back up the chain, but he would just fall again for me and my party to stomp! The other three times that I fought him, this didn't happen. Was that first time just a glitch, or does it happen alot?

Just wondering cuz it freaked us out. Just to let you know, after I left Shinra Mansion I went running through Nibelheim screaming, "GO TO SEPIROTH'S REUNION, AUNT JENOVA AND UNCLE CHUCK WILL BE THERE!" That's beside the point though, has anyone else seen the swinging guy fall?

Its done the same thing to me,many times actually.Its not a glitch that I know of,because it seems to happen almost every other time I battle him.It may be just because you have depleted a great amount of his HP and he becomes weak and falls.

yea it does that, but i just thought it did it wen u hit it hard? well i dunio but it aint a glitch :)

I think if you hit him hard enough he lets go. Similar to the Armarda in FF8 if you hit it hard enough he falls over!

It only seems to fall when you land a critical hit. Otherwise, it hangs on.

definitely. i've seen him actually climb back up onto the rope but usually he can't. one blast of demi can take quite a load off of him if you do it right away.

I never noticed him begging for mercy. o___o;

But yeah. He always climbs back on the chain for me. Nothing strange there.

I always feel strangely sorry for that little guy, when he's slumped on the floor trying depserately to grab his chain again.
