Dragon Fangs?

Where the smegging hell do you get dragon fangs!? i forgot where to get them so am failing in getting the lionheart, bah. i heard that you can get them off blue dragons but i have fought around.... 30 and havent got a single one.

Goto the Island Closest To Hell. You get them from Grendals and Blue Dragons.

i have tried there but i cant get any, should they be a certain level or sumthing, or use mug?

Get Bahamut, learn Rare Item. Go back to Island Closest to Hell, find yourself a Blue Dragon and you'll get about 4-8 Dragon Fangs just be defeating it.

I learned rare item ages ago and still havent got a single one (and yes its equipped), tis a guddle. All i seem to get are inferno fangs, fury fragments and red fangs.

i had the same problem too, but what i thought was weird and possibly a defect with my game was when i didnt mug a monster (ie.blue dragon) during a fight, itd drop different items than if i mugged it during a fight.

so with saying that, whenever i didnt mug him i tended to get dragon fangs(although still rare)

i didnt have rare item ability either.. i didnt even get to fighting bahamut yet..

dont quote me too much on this, its probably just a defect or weird phenomena with my game :rolleyes2

Well, I also know that the monsters around Bahamut's core (the place you have to walk and stop between the flashes of light) drop Dragon Fangs sometimes.

But you've already beaten Bahamut so scratch that.

Just keep trying. It has to come up sooner or later.

Well what do you know, after around my fiftieth fight with a blue dragon, i get 8 dragon fangs. Just spiffing.
The same with those wendigo bastards, first i had to find them, only to realise that i hadnt put mug on, then i forgot again, then i mugged them but didnt get anything..... but then I did, whoopee!

You guys wanna know how to get 1st disc Lion Heat???
I'll tell ya!
1: Get 20 Enlonyes (forgot name) and refine them into 2 Energy Crystals and refine them into 20 Pulse Ammos.
2: Beat Grendals near Timber until you get Dragon Fangs. (They have to be like low levels below 20 I think.)
3: Beat Adamantoises near Dollet beach until you get an Adamantine. (Or refine the Minotaur card. I don't suggest it. Could be useful for random duels.)
4: Hurry to a Junk Shop and pay the fee, relinquish the items, RECIEVE LION HEART!!!

Kinda easy, hmmm? I'll try it on my next game, but it definitely works. I kinda did tons of research. You can still rule w/out it, but the more power, the faster boss battles go.

Although, I thought you needed the Weapons Mon 1st to have the option to get the lionheart.
