so that makes this game better to replay because u have more too look forward too. Just got this game 3 days ago and everything is good besides these damn garment grids. i dont like it. I guess i just havent gotten use to it yet. i didnt like the sphere grid in FFX but after i learned it and knew what i was doing i loved it.

Hey, this thread is getting kinda spammy, ya? Umm... let me try and think of something to say. Oh. ok.

everything is good besides these damn garment grids.
I used to kind of think that too. I felt like my options were a little limited unless I wanted to spend a huge amount of time switching all the way across the grid to get to the dressphere that I wanted, but I have def. grown to like it. I tend to use different grids form different characters. Rikku has the "treasure hunt" grid and the lady luck sphere and white mage, things like that. Yuna's got the semi-powerful dresspheres like gunner and black mage, and I load Paine up with the big damage dealers like Dark Knight and Berserker. I think it really helps you customize your characters in any way that you want to, as opposed to the sphere grid of FFX, where you still had to follow a line that the game had set out beforehand.

I started playing the game at my friend's house. Beat chapter one with as much percentage as I possibly could. To be honest, it wasn't that hard.

I love the garment spheres. I love the customization they allowed. It was just fun to be able to switch around like that in battle. It rocked. I want alchemist so bad, I'll just have to wait 'til I get it tomorrow for Christmas. Just 24 more hours until I'm sittin' under that tree.

I was a little disappointed that I could go get Paine's best garment sphere right away, but, meh.

ok so ive been playin for 8 hrs now. im gettin use to the whole garment grid thing. so its not so bad after all. But does anyone else think the whole singing crap yuna does sumtime gets annoying and its un-necessary. i think its kinda cheesy. but over all im enjoying the game. not as much a X yet, but im not even half way thru the game so i have plenty of more stuff to do...

Actually, it's more or less three complete endings with five pieces, plus one if you lose. That's where the six comes from. You can pretty much view every single part if you do it right and get 100% the first time, it seems.

There are infact six endings...my sis has the official strategy guide and it says so.

I can't wait to see them all, but I won't get to anytime soon seeing as I won't be able to take my PS2 with me to bootcamp:(.

Yuna finds Tidus, they run, they hug, the love I cry.
PERFECT ENDING
Yuna and Tidus in Zanarkand ruins.

Unless you're counting the Shuyin and Lenne thing, thats just part of the game, not an ending. I still count 5.

You automatically get the normal ending before you see any of the good/perfect endings. The perfect end you see Normal, Good and Perfect in that order. There are still only 5, set up in three combos.

well would you mind enlightening me to which end that is? I have the strategy guide and they show only three groupings, totalling 5 events :/ Which one am I missing? I would like to know cause I'm working on FFX-2 site pages and the endings is one of them. So if I am missing one, please *point* it to me :(

Well I I got both the normal endings and the bad ending today and I guess I read it wrong. Theres six, but thats only if you count the bad ending (which I don't really consider an ending), and the 2nd normal ending just had a little in-game extra before the FMV...so I guess theres six endings only if you're an extremely technical nit-picking person (which I can be).

So umm yeah you've been right all along eternalshiva...you're not missing anything:D.

this game sucked. almost as bad as FF8. what a rip. endings sucked, the dancing sucked. the only thing that was good was the graphics.

please god let ffXI be good when it comes out in march

Last time I checked, this wasn't a ''What do you think of FFX-2' thread. Also, can you give us more legit reasons to why you think the game sucks rather then ''fFX2 suX!1 fVII is ThE sHIZ''. Mostly because people who hate the game usually never come up with a descent reason and how awful is compared to the worshipped cow, VII, and FF in general.

i did not say one thing about FF7 you genius. ffx2 sucked because it was just dumb.every little thing was just stupid, everything yuna said, did, and even her thoughts. Then making some guy look like tidus and making a girl look like yuna in a way and throwing them in the story line? what for? oh some guys feelings made a machine come alive and want to kill all of spira? that was dumb. Also the whole YRP thing? its just like someone in a thread a while back said, Charlies Angels anyone? just lame. if i wanted to see singing and dancing i would go to a concert. if i wanted to hear stupid comments and jokes i would watch THAT 70's show.

Remember when Yuna got sucked down the black hole after Xion? Well you're supposed to press X when ever she speaks to hear a whistle four times. Then you see a shimerry Tidus lead her out of the dark. Now if you do all the events properly, all the MAIN events that bring Yuna's memories to her journey in FFX, you see a Fayth that appears after you kick the crap out of the end boss, when she walks through the planes. You're supposed to press X as soon as she starts to walk across the flowery field to make him appear and boom, he asks you if you want to see him again. Say NO to get the sad crappy ending or say yes to get the super exciting ending xD

Ah I got the "Good Ending" today...it made me teary, as sappy as it was.

92% and I can't figure out how to get episode complete in Djose or the Calm Lands, and I can't get that flippin' cave under mushroom rock to open up...GAH!
