Gackt is a brunette (or rather, I believe his hair is dark brown/black), he dyes his hair all sorts of colors, including blonde. Square announced that they were modeling Squall after him.

Well its usually a good bet that no Asian is naturally blonde. I've certainly never heard of it. :)

Gackt loves to dress up and dye his hair and all sorts of stuff. I believe he's kept the peroxide blonde look for quite sometime, though.
