The advertisement in the top left corner (above the EoFF logo) is shifted down in its space and slightly to the right. This isn't really a good thing, especially with the sound ads like that horrible horrible casino one, since you can't mute it because the mute button is out of view.

Isn't there anything that anyone can do about that?

If you use windows, put "0.0.0.0 adserver.gamesquad.net" or "127.0.0.1 adserver.gamesquad.net" in your Hosts file... you'll never see another ad here again.

In XP, it's C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts , no extention. I THINK it's just C:\windows\hosts in Win 98.

Your windows directory might be named differently, though.

EDIT: This seems to work fine in IE. I tried it in Netscape, though, and it gives a pop-up that says "connection to adserver.gamesquad.net was refused", which is just as annoying. Not sure about the other browsers, but most of them can take of the ads on their own.

And finally, http://www.mozilla.org/download.html

What advertisements? :D

And yeah, Mozilla doesn't give a pop-up about not finding the ad site - in fact I can't even see where the ad should belong :p

I dunno exactly what you mean. Strange fact: when I switched to mozilla, the ad switched to the middle instead of the left of the top.

I also only see ads in the top left if I use Opera, which I know isn't very good at displaying web pages correctly in some cases :p
