Chrono trigger leveling up

I'm going to train my characters to level
99 just for fun

And I wondered if someone could tell me
what is the fastest to level up at.
I'm currently level 70+ so if someone have got
any tips please write them here :)

Go to that flying mountain, and keep fighting that Rubble that keeps coming back.

Black Omen is a good place to lvl up, too.

I thought that was only for Tech Points, and besides, it's gone for good once you're finished on the mountain.

Black Omen would be a nice place, since you can just leave and re-enter any time you want to.

I can't remember now, but I guess they give you a good amount of XP for a very easy fight.

theres really no fantastic place to level up. The black omen is the best but the way to do it is go back through time each new game. For example, Beat the Black Omen in 1000 AD up until right before the mommon machine and Zeal, go all the way back through fighting any monsters still there along the way. Go back to 600 AD do the same, then 12,000 BC and beat Zeal. I've done it this way and its great for leveling up because if you kill things in the future (like the mini bosses along the way in trhe black omen) their still there in the future.

I haven't tried it this way, but theoretically, you could kill zeal and the mammon machine in each time zone as well, because theres a gate just as you step inside Lavos shell, and you could keep going through the whole black omen. But I've never tried it this way.

Honestly its really not worth even getting to lvl 99 though except for to fight spekkio or really just for the sake of getting to level 99. Lavos is so easy in the higher leveals that hes a joke

The best place I always use is on Death's Peak, right after the ice bridge you can slip off of. The next screen has (I think they're called) Krakkers falling from the mountain. If you time it right (usually by following one down the path a ways), you can get six of them on the screen at once. Then I just Fire 2 right away, and it kills them all. It's over 2000 exp. every time, and once you get your rhythm down, it goes pretty quick. I normally use this only to get to the low fifties, so there may be better spots later on.

Yeah, Death's Peak is the best place, but another good one is the mountains in the prehistoric era, that is if you can stand it. I know many people who can't.

If I remember correctly, if your stats go down once your level goes too high. Maybe I'm just crazy. Anyway, Black Omen's definitely the place to go.
