I got a new digital camera for Christmas, and it drew out the amatuer photographer in me (or the digital terrorist, depending upon who you're asking). So I thought I'd share some of the pictures that I have taken so far that I think are pretty cool:

Yeah, I'm very pleased with my new camera, it does take awesome pictures. It's a Nikon Coolpix 3100 (http://www.nikonusa.com/template.php?cat=1&grp=2&productNr=25509.) Myself and my fiance had done some research into them (I was thinking about getting one and she surprised me with it for Christmas) and found out that Nikon and Canon are the best to get because they use real camera lenses in their digital cameras, whereas other manufacturers use cheap plastic lenses. We did a lot of research, but I think it shows in the quality of the pictures.
