I'm not sure what sort of demographic I'm working with here, but let's see if I can't find some good suggestions. I wanna watch more martial arts stuff, and I need suggestions. So just give me what you think is the best martial arts movie/ martial arts fight sequence, and we'll take it from there.

And also debate over why our suggestions aren't the best or something. Debate is fun.

Although these aren't good movies for storyline, Mortal Kombat 1 & 2 has some really great fighting scenes that are true to the video game.

Especially Johnny Cage vs Scorpian scene.

Jackie Chan's Armour of the Gods is quite comical. (most Jackie Chan films have very original fight sequences).

Kung Pow definately hilarious.

I've only seen the lightsaber fight from Star Wars: Episode I and the Kung-Fu scenes from the Matrix, so I guess I'll have to go with those.

I can't believe you people are recommending Kung-Pow! That movie is horrible! It was so bad it actually physically gave me a headache. Ugh.

As for cool martial arts scenes, you can't go wrong with Sonny Chiba in The Street Fighter. That movie owns. And Revenge of The Street Fighter has the BEST SUPER COMBO EVER at the end. Where he slams the guy on the boat and just smashes him like a million times in 2 seconds. I love that part.

Jackie Chan's Wheels on Meals is pretty cool as is Rumble in the Bronx. The Swordsman 2 is nice as well.

Uhm I have MANY but here are the ones I can remember:

- The bride kicking the Crazy 88 butts in Kill Bill.
- The Scene where Donnie Yen and Jet Li fights on the lake in 'Hero'.
- The opening scene in The Matrix with Trinity.
- The scenes with Zhang Ziyi and Michelle Yeoh in 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon'
etc etc

The bar scene in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was really great. I saw this movie on TV, I think it was called Volcano High, it had some cool fight scenes in it, too.

I thought Kung Pow was really funny, but there really weren't any awesome fight scenes in it.

Fort Condor 2 (I think that's the name anyway), Jackie Chan film.

Fighting in a wind tunnel, with the wind being switched on and off in different directions, total hilarity, just brilliant.

Enter the Dragon was a f**king classic. Kill Bill had some pretty nice martial arts scenes too. Lately, youll see katanas in just about any movie, but no one who uses the correct style to make it look right. Good to see that Quentin Tarentino knew what he was doing.

If anyone's ever seen that HK film starring Chow Yun Fat, Prison On Fire...

...Oh man~! Those were fight scenes! He bit off the dudes ear!

And I loved the Mortal Kombat fight scenes too. Scorpian vs. Johnny Cage get's my vote too. Liu Kang vs. Shang Tsung was good too.

And Jackie Chan's films before he sold out to the west were good. The fight scenes in Lady Rose and Twin Dragons are pretty good.

Thank you... Thank you so much. I was beginning to think that I was the only one that hated that movie.

Basically, any movie with Donnie Yen is a great movie. I highly recommend Iron Monkey 1 and 2, though. The fight scenes for Iron Monkey 1 are absolutely incredible. Another great movie is Once Upon a Time in China 2. Jet Li and Donnie Yen duke it out for about 10-15 minutes. Oh, and if you like a movie that hasn't much of a story, then check out Fist of the Red Dragon.
