Or check out www.ebay.com or auctions.yahoo.com for a used SNES copy.

Plus Anthologies (Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI) is now a greatest hit for Playstation so you should be able to find it at most any video game specialty store (Babbages, Game Stop, Electronics Boutique, etc...).

It costs a ridiculous amount used for SNES most of the time though, and the Anthology version suffers from ridiculously bad loading times. Your best bet is probably to download it from EoFF.

If you have a PS2 you can set it to load faster, but this sometimes messes up audio. I don't know if this would have any effect in FF6 though. In case you're wondering if it speeds up actual in-game load times..... Yes, a RESOUNDING yes. I didn't really notice it much when I did it in Silent Hill, but when I turned it off, I was like "why is it taking me 5 seconds to walk through this door?"

How do you speed up the load times?

Disc Speed: Standard
Texture Mapping: Standard
Select disc speed and then fast.

You probably have to do that every time you load the playstation though, don't you? Still I guess that's a bit better than nothing at all =/

If you have to do it every time though, there must be some erason why Sony doesn't stick it on default or save it or something :p

I have a question though, DOES it affect the audio in the game?
