AIM is garbage. It installs that online game junk on your computer.

I fixed it using middle man. I'm surprised deadaim didn't work.

blast you people >:o gaim is no file transfer and trillian is sux in layout.

Here is the real solution:

1) Uninstall AIM
2) Burn AOL
3) Start a terrorist campaign agiainst AOL
4) Download Trillian
5) or alternativly download MSN Messenger
6) Be happy that you are now AOL free :)

If you had unchecked all the hiding options of deadaim while the sound was playing, you'd have realized it was playing a mini movie, just above your buddy list. For some reason deadaim 4 doesn't hide them. I think deadaim 4.1 does, though.
